The Lightning Thief - I saw the promo of the movie when I went to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, so I ordered it from the library and now I'm looking forward to a bit of fantasy.
Deja Dead - I finally started this book and can definitely understand why there is a TV series spun off from it, very engrossing!

I hope you like The Lightning Thief, just so you know, there are five books in the series.
I haven't read Deja Dead yet but Sookie is great and there are nine books!

I really enjoyed The Lightning Thief when I read it last year. It was on the sixth grade reading list and I try to read what the kids are reading. But it was quite good. My daughter will be reading it this year and instead of reading it again, I think I'll read the second in the series.
